Holiday Craft Night Brings Creativity to YLP
(Submitted by Andrea and John Briar of Starlight Design)
On Dec. 10, Yosemite Grille hosted the Paintology Academy craft-making event, organized by Andrea and John Briar of Starlight Design, a local business specializing in digital design and custom novelty items.
The event brought together 27 YLP residents for an evening of holiday crafting and wine. Participants chose between creating a 10-inch laser-cut wooden holiday door hanger or a set of four smaller wooden ornaments. Each kit included detailed pieces, along with paint, glue, glitter, and ribbons to personalize the decorations.
Andrea guided attendees through the crafting process, while Jenifer Esquivel, catering manager for YLP, served wine to add to the festive atmosphere. John Briar provided support with materials and supplies, ensuring everything ran smoothly.
The 2 1/2-hour event offered a relaxing and enjoyable way to start the holiday season. Participants left with their finished decorations, ready to add a personal touch to their holiday celebrations.
The Paintology Academy craft night was a great opportunity for neighbors to connect and share in the holiday spirit. Keep an eye out for more community events like this in the future!
